Our white 1020 trays keep your plants cooler by reflecting most of the light rather than absorbing it. This reflection also has the added benefit of giving your seedlings more of that reflected light.
Please note that we recommend using trays of the same depth when nesting trays.

Are your 1020 trays bpa-free? What kind of plastic are they?
It is made from BPA free Polypropylene (PP). This is the same type of plastic they use to make Plastic cups, baby bottles, Kitchenware, microwavable plastic containers and lids. Thanks for asking!

Hello I am trying to find a white seed tray that is heavy duty with the dimensions of around 42" x 11.5" x 2.5". I use the 162 count per sheet of root cubes and want a tray to hold two sheets, Do you sell these?
We don't currently carry a white tray with those dimensions. Maybe something to think about for the future though!

Are these FDA approved food safe?
We have tested our trays using an independent lab to make sure they contain no contamination or harmful chemicals. However we haven't worked with the FDA to get a certification from them. They are BPA free and we only use food grade polypropylene plastic which is one of the safest plastics out there.

For a 1 pack a single tray would be shipped. For a 5 pack you would receive 5 trays.

Does the white color trays allow light to penetrate and algae to grow?
The white trays are solid in color and do not allow light to go through. Algae doesn't grow in the white trays.
