Our grow mats are made of all-natural industrial hemp. They are an ideal grow media for microgreens, wheatgrass, and sprouts. The loose weave fibers allow your plant's roots to grow through while also providing them with nutrients.
*The hemp grow mats are sold in rolls that are not pre-cut
Our hemp grow mats are 650 gsm providing a durable mat and still allowing you to cut these to size.
Each mat is ¼ inch thick.
1020 Tray Cutting Instructions
- Cut into 36" x 19.5" Strips
- Divide those strips into 4 equal pieces each measuring 9" x 19.5"
Note: this is a loose weave so there is stretch involved when unrolling, cutting, etc. Meaning all numbers above are approximate.

We do ship to Australia. You can enter your shipping address before you check out to view the shipping rates, which include all duties and taxes.

Are the mats for one use only or can you use them for more than one crop?
We would highly recommend using them once then composting them. That would be true of any growing mat and/or grow media that you use. The risk of contaimnation will increase exponentially.

For a roll that yields 20 mats it will be 36"x100" (this is the the smallest roll we offer)

What size are the mats? (How many trays will 1 mat do?)
The smallest roll we sell is the one labeled "20" for $49.95 and this will allow you to cut approximately 20 - 9"x19.5" mats with each single mat fitting into one of our 1020 trays. So in other words our 20 mat offering with yield 20 1020 trays.

I am wanting to grow microgreens. I am unclear if using a grow mat would you need to have a tray that has drainage holes?

Cut into 36" x 19.5" Strips Divide those strips into 4 equal prices each measuring 9" x 19.5" So 20 mats of half that size, or 10 mats of the size per your question.

For your product, HEMP GROWING MAT - BULK ROLLS, if I order 20, now many 10x20 grow pads can I cut from them?
If you select the "20" size you will get approximately 20 pads for your 10x20 tray.
