Shipping Policy

Order Processing & Handling

  • Most products will ship from our facility in 1 to 2 business days after your order is placed.
  • Please note: Does not apply to products over 150 lbs. (see freight page for more details).
  • Express shipment orders placed after 12PM EST will be shipped next business day.

Shipping Options & Carriers

  • Our Free Shipping on orders over $75 to the contiguous US will ship via the most economical ground option (either UPS, FedEx, or USPS).

  • PO Boxes require the USPS shipping option to be selected at checkout.

UPS

Shipping times are in business days.  Saturday Delivery only available in limited residential locations.
  • UPS Ground- 1-5 business days.  Published transit times are estimates only. Shipping non-refundable.
  • UPS 3 Day Select - Delivery 3 business days after it ships (doesn’t include weekends). 
  • UPS 2nd Day Air - Delivery 2 business days after shipping (doesn’t include weekends). 
  • UPS Next Day Air -Guaranteed next business day. Can get reimbursed for shipping charges if not delivered on time. Shipping charge refundable if misses published deadline.

FedEx

  • FedEx Ground- If commercial, 1-5 business days with no weekend delivery. If residential, 1-5 business days with weekend delivery.  Published transit time are estimates only.  Shipping non-refundable.
  • FedEx 2 Day - Express service 2 business days with no weekend delivery. For some limited locations you are able to pay an extra fee for weekend delivery.  Shipping charge refundable if misses published deadline.
  • FedEx Priority Overnight - Express service next day with no weekend delivery. For some locations you are able to pay an extra fee for weekend delivery.  Shipping charge refundable if misses published deadline.

USPS (Post Office)

  • Required for shipping to PO Boxes.

  • While we ship all orders promptly, USPS tracking updates can sometimes be delayed, and delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. It's common for tracking information to not update for several days, even after the package has left our facility.

  • USPS Priority Mail (2-Day / 3-Day): Estimated delivery of 2-3 business days, but transit times are not guaranteed and can sometimes take longer, up to 2 weeks.

  • USPS Priority Mail Express (1-Day / 2-Day): Guaranteed delivery 1 or 2 business days after it ships, depending on the service selected and destination.

Returned Shipments & Incorrect Addresses

  • It is the customer's responsibility to provide a correct and deliverable shipping address at the time of order.

  • If a package is returned to us by the carrier due to an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address provided by the customer, or if the package is refused upon delivery, the customer will be responsible for the original shipping costs (which are non-refundable) and any new costs associated with reshipping the order.

    • Orders must be received prior to re-shipping product.

  • We will contact you upon receipt of the returned package to confirm the correct address and process the reshipment fee.

  • If the customer chooses not to have the order reshipped, a refund will be issued for the product cost only, minus the original shipping charges and any return shipping fees charged to us by the carrier. A restocking fee may also apply.

  • If the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., we shipped to the wrong address despite the correct one being provided), we will reship the order at no additional cost to you.

    Delivery Confirmation & Missing Packages

    • Carrier Confirmed Delivery: Once the carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS or Freight Carrier) confirms delivery to the address provided in your order, Bootstrap Farmer is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

    • Steps to Take: If your tracking information shows "delivered" but you have not received your package, please:

      1. Check thoroughly: Look around all entrances, with neighbors, and in mail rooms.

      2. Verify address: Double-check the shipping address on your order confirmation to ensure it's correct.

      3.  Request a delivery confirmation. Using the tracking number from UPS or FedEx we can provide a delivery confirmation with the address it was delivered to.  In many cases these confirmations will include a photo of the package where it was left. 

      4. Contact carrier: Reach out directly to the shipping carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS) with your tracking number. They may have additional information about the delivery or can open an investigation.

    • Stolen Packages: If you suspect your package was stolen after delivery, we recommend filing a police report.

    • Resolution: While Bootstrap Farmer cannot replace packages confirmed as delivered by the carrier, we are happy to assist you by providing any necessary shipping information for your claim with the carrier.
