If I don't need the entire brick at one time, can I cut off how much I need before hydrating, or hydrate the entire brick and store the leftover loose product (after letting it fully air dry, I assume)? If the latter, for how long in what container can I store it?
The easiest thing to do is either cut off a piece of the coco brick or just hydrate a potion of it and tear off what you need.

Are these bricks 1/3 cu ft before or after they are hydrated?
The coco coir expands to 1/3 cubic foot after hydration.

I bought 10 bricks, but the packaging has no label/rehydration ratio instructions. How much warm water to rehydrate each brick? And. Can I assume your cox coir supplier has washed the coir so I don't need to? Thanks!
Each coco coir brick will expand with approximately 4 to 5 quarts (1 to 1.25 gallons) of warm water. Let it soak for about 15–30 minutes, then fluff to fully break it apart. You can add more water gradually if the texture seems too dry.
As for rinsing:
Our coco coir is pre-rinsed and buffered by the manufacturer, and generally ready to use right out of the package. That said, coco coir (and rockwool) can sometimes retain salts from the manufacturing process. While further rinsing isn’t typically required, it can help lower the EC (electrical conductivity) — which is what really matters when determining if a rinse is necessary.For reference:

If you're growing sensitive seedlings or hydroponically, you may choose to rinse and check EC as a precaution — but for most uses, additional rinsing isn’t needed.

can the material be reused on several crops over time?
