We have put together everything a grower needs to propagate seedlings in one convenient kit. Wanting to try to grow your vegetable starts from seed this year? We have thought of everything, so you don't have to. Seeds can be propagated much earlier using artificial light, heat mats, and the proper trays.

Cell trays- Grower's can start more varieties in a smaller space using cell trays. Cell trays are specifically designed to help your seedlings form proper root systems and allow for proper drainage to avoid mold issues. Each cell measures 2” square by 2” deep. Outer Dimensions: 21 1/4” x 11 1/4” x 2” Deep
2.5" pots- These seedling pots come in multi-colors, perfect for color-coding varieties and add a little fun to the project. Made of recyclable Polypropylene (#5), these pots include 1/4" drain holes and are 3" tall and measure 2.5" X 2.5".
Heavy-Duty 1020 trays- We include 2 with and 2 without holes for use with watering and transport
20 x 20 heat mat- Using a heat mat helps speed up germination and allows the grower to start seeds in a cooler environment such as a garage or basement.
LED grow light- This light has a red/blue (12 blue chips, 24 red chips) led combination that promotes germination. It comes with (3) timer setting options, allowing for up to 3, 6, or 12 hrs., depending on the plant's needs. The 5 dimmable modes allow the grower to control lighting strength, ensuring the best start for new seedlings. We love the 360º adjustable gooseneck that allows for lighting a wider area.
How far above seedlings should these lights be?
We recommend 4-6" above the seedling. As the seedling grows, you should move the light up with it.
Is the heat mat big enough for 2 trays?
Yes the heat mat is big enough to fit 2 - 1020 Trays.
