Bootstrap Your Farm in 2026

JUDGES CHOOSE THE WINNER USING THE CRITERIA BELOW, NOT BY CHANCE.

1. Sponsor

The Bootstrap Your Farm contest (the "contest") is sponsored by Bootstrap Farmer LLC, 151 Crawford Rd, Downingtown, PA 19335 ("Bootstrap Farmer" or "Sponsor"). Questions go to contact@bootstrapfarmer.com or (888) 406-1982.

2. Who can enter

The contest is open to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 or older (or the age of majority in their state, if older) when they enter. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor and its affiliates and agencies, and their immediate family and household members, can't enter. Void where prohibited.

3. Entry period

The contest starts at 12:00 a.m. Central Time (CT) on October 8, 2026 and ends at 11:59 p.m. CT on October 31, 2026 (the "Entry Period"). Sponsor's computer clock is the official clock. Entries received after the Entry Period ends won't be accepted.

4. How to enter

Go to https://bootstrapfarmer.com/contest during the Entry Period and complete the entry form. You'll need to:

1. Give your full name, email address, and state of residence.
2. Answer these questions in up to 300 words each:
   • Tell us about the farm or garden you're bootstrapping.
   • What are you growing, or planning to grow?
   • How would a hoop house help you, your family, or your community?
3. Answer the optional questions about your social handles, growing space, and how you heard about the contest. These aren't scored.
4. Check the box agreeing to join Bootstrap Farmer's email list.

Limit one entry per person and per email address. If you submit more than once, only your most recent entry counts. Entries made with bots or scripts or using fake identities will be disqualified. Entries must be your own original work, written in English, and can't include content that is offensive, unlawful, or violates anyone's rights. Sponsor isn't responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or garbled entries.

5. Email list consent

To enter, you must agree to receive marketing emails from Bootstrap Farmer. You can unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of any email. Unsubscribing after you enter won't cancel your entry.

6. Prizes

Three (3) winners will each receive one prize:

Total approximate retail value of all prizes: $1,949.96.

Limit one prize per person and per household. Sponsor will ship each prize free to the winner's address in the 48 contiguous United States or DC. Assembly, installation, site prep, lumber, doors, and anything not listed above are not included. Prizes can't be transferred, swapped, or exchanged for cash. If an item isn't available, Sponsor may substitute an item of equal or greater value.

7. How the winner is chosen

On or about November 3, 2026, a jury panel of Bootstrap Farmer team members will judge all eligible entries using the criteria below. The highest score wins the Grand Prize, the second-highest wins the Second Prize, and the third-highest wins the Third Prize.

Story: how well your entry shows your passion for growing and the bootstrapped spirit	20%

Social media handles are not judged. If entries tie, the one with the higher Impact score ranks higher. If they're still tied, the judges will vote. Judges' decisions are final.

8. Odds

Your chances of winning depend on the number of eligible entries and how they score against the judging criteria.

9. Winner notification

Sponsor will email potential winners on or about November 3, 2026, at the email address on their entry. Sponsor may also send a direct message to a social handle the entrant shared. Each potential winner must reply within 5 days and may need to sign a declaration of eligibility, liability release, and publicity release. If a potential winner doesn't reply in time, can't be reached, isn't eligible, or doesn't follow these rules, they forfeit the prize, and Sponsor may award it to the next-highest-scoring entry. Once confirmed, winners will be announced in Bootstrap Farmer's social media Stories.

10. Taxes

Each winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on their prize. Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099 if required by law, and a winner may need to provide a completed IRS Form W-9 before the prize ships.

11. Use of your entry and publicity

By entering, you give Sponsor permission to use, edit, and share your entry answers to run and promote the contest, without payment. Sponsor won't publicly share a non-winner's answers with their name without asking first. Except where prohibited by law, each winner agrees that Sponsor can use their name, city and state, photo, entry answers, and social handles in contest announcements and marketing, without further payment.

12. General conditions

Sponsor may disqualify anyone who tampers with the entry process, breaks these rules, or acts in a disruptive or unfair way. If fraud, technical failure, or anything else beyond Sponsor's control harms the contest, Sponsor may cancel, change, or suspend it and judge the eligible entries received before the problem. By entering, you agree to these rules and to the judges' decisions.

13. Release and limitation of liability

By entering, you release Sponsor, its affiliates, and their employees and agents from any claims, injuries, losses, or damages arising from the contest or from receiving, assembling, or using the prize. Sponsor isn't responsible for technical errors, failed internet connections, or entries that aren't received for any reason.

14. Social media platforms

This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Meta, or any other social media platform. By entering, you release those platforms from any liability related to the contest.

15. Privacy

16. Disputes

These rules are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved individually, without a class action, in the state or federal courts located in Chester County, Pennsylvania.

17. Winner's name

To get the winners' first names and states, email contact@bootstrapfarmer.com with "Bootstrap Your Farm Winners" in the subject line by December 31, 2026.
