USA Made 4-Cell Seed Starting Trays
Proudly made in the USA, these larger 4-cell plug inserts are deeper for growing crops that need a little more room. Eight removable inserts fit into a Bootstrap Farmer 1020 tray. Made from food-safe, heavy-duty polypropylene plastic and built to last for many seasons. Easily color code seedlings using these plug trays.
Available in black, blue, green, purple, pink, orange, and multi-color packs. The 8-pack multicolor option does not include pink.

How much soil does a cell of the 4X4 plug tray hold? Is the material in the 4X4 plug tray the same as the 2.5 inch individual pots?
Volume measurements can vary depending on the consistency of your mix and how much you compress the mix in the cells. Here is a rough estimate: a 4-cell tray takes a quart of soil, each cell takes one cup of soil to fill. The 4 cell trays are made of #5 PP, just like the 2.5" cells.
