Do the trays that come with this combo have holes?
The cell tray has holes. The bottom tray does not.

Are these 72 cell trays or the air prune trays better? And why?
The 72 Cell Air Prune trays create superior root structure. Airstrips in each cell prune the roots to prevent root circling. The Air Prune trays are perfect for delicate seedlings because of the large bottom holes for easy removal. When the roots grow and reach the edge of block, they stop growing because they are air pruned. Then, the inside root ball will continue to develop and grow more roots.
