How to Use Air Prune Seed Starting Trays

Fill trays with well-draining soil, taking care not to overfill. Lightly compress soil until firm but not compacted. Mist the soil lightly and plant seeds into the media. After planting, bottom-watering can commence using a 1020 shallow tray or deep 1020 tray.

Pairs best with our 1020 shallow trays for easy bottom watering and airflow.

  • Perfect second stage

    I am here buying more of these. I’ve found they are the best way for me to plant up my soil blocks before planting out. My garden does best when the plants are larger and well hardened. The larger soil blocks are only good under cover. These trays let me lift the plants from the water tray to experience rain and then nestle back in after for regular watering. I’m not gonna lie. I love the colors.

  • Airplane 72 cell trays

    These are superior to the rest. Put them to the test today planting for fall veggies for our Community Garden in which we support 3 gardens with transplants from our greenhouse.
