All of Bootstrap Farmer's seed trays where designed by growers for growers. In order to have a profitable growing business we had to stop spending our time and money replacing seed trays every season. Bootstrap Farmer's trays are built to last a lifetime saving you the headache of broken and flimsy trays, keeping more money in your pocket.
Since the cells are so sturdy is it more difficult to extract the seedlings for transplanting?
It is not any more difficult! Here is a link to a tool that is very useful to have on hand to help remove the seedlings. https://www.bootstrapfarmer.com/products/widger-dibber-set?_pos=1&_sid=8434a54ed&_ss=r Also, here is a link to a great resource of ours regarding removing plugs from cell trays! https://www.bootstrapfarmer.com/blogs/how-to-grow-seedlings/removing-plugs-from-cell-tray-inserts-when-transplanting
What is the volume for each cell? I’d like to figure out how this size compares to a different product I’m currently using
The individual cells are 1.75 x 1.75 x 2.5 inches so the overall volume is approximately 7.5 cubic inches.
