I have used other netting in the past and most of them are a bit softer than this one. The netting itself is pretty firm and you can pull on it without worry about it ripping. I don't have a very large hoop house when I bought this to keep out those annoying bugs. But I think I might end up using this for my outdoor beds later in summer.
