Skip the trip to the hardware store. These pre-cut, hot-dip galvanized steel stakes are made to seat the Sumi Riser Clamp and elevate your Sumi Soaker tubing above the canopy — no cutting, no measuring, no hacksaw.
At a glance
What you get
Building a riser system the standard way means a trip to the hardware store for 3/4" EMT conduit, a hacksaw, and an afternoon cutting it down to 3-foot sections. These stakes replace that step. They arrive pre-cut to the right length, with a chisel tip on the driven end and a hot-dip galvanized coating that holds up in damp soil over multiple seasons.
Drop a Sumi Riser Clamp onto the top of each stake, thread your Sumi Soaker tubing through the clamps, and you have an elevated irrigation run that clears your canopy and reaches over row cover.
Coverage
Recommended spacing is 3.5 feet between stakes. For a 50-foot bed, plan on 16 stakes; for a 100-foot bed, plan on 30.
| Bed length | Stakes needed |
|---|---|
| 25 ft | 9 |
| 50 ft | 16 |
| 100 ft | 30 |
Pairs with
The Sumi Riser Clamp is the matching top piece — it seats onto the stake and holds the Sumi tubing in the clip. Stakes and clamps are sold separately so you can match pack sizes to your bed count.
