Product details

Weight: 0.0 lb

Raise your Sumi Soaker irrigation tubing off the ground using the Sumi Riser Clamp.

Lifting the tubing improves spray coverage for taller crops and helps the water clear foliage and low tunnels.

The clamp seats onto a 3/4-inch vertical post. Use the Sumi Soaker Riser Stake (sold separately) for a pre-cut, hot-dip galvanized post built to match — or supply your own 3/4-inch EMT conduit cut to length.

Recommended number of risers

  • 25-foot bed: 10 risers
  • 50-foot bed: 20 risers
  • 100-foot bed: 30 risers

Installation

  1. Set up your vertical posts. Use Sumi Soaker Riser Stakes (pre-cut, hot-dip galvanized, ready to drive) or cut 3/4-inch EMT conduit into 3-foot sections.
  2. Hammer each post into the soil 6–12 inches deep, being careful not to bend the top of the pipe.
  3. Space the posts about 3½ feet apart along the bed.
  4. Insert the Sumi Riser Clamps into the top of each post.
  5. Thread the Sumi tubing through the clamps and connect the tubing to your water source.

The Sumi Soaker Riser Stake is the matched post for this clamp — pre-cut to 30 inches, chisel-tipped, and hot-dip galvanized so the driven end holds up in damp soil. Available in 10-, 20-, and 30-packs to match your clamp pack size.
