Derecho 24' Gothic High Tunnel Kit

Our Strongest Gothic High Tunnel Kit

The Derecho is our largest and strongest greenhouse kit, built for growers who need a structure that holds up to hard winters and open-field wind. The Gothic arch peaks at 12' 4" and sheds snow instead of collecting it, and 5' sidewalls give you ample room to work all the way out to the edge beds.

The frame is USA-made galvanized steel with a 1.9" 13-gauge peak, a truss on every hoop, and bolted connections instead of screws. Every kit ships with all-metal hip and base boards, purlin kits, and corner bracing, so there is no lumber to source, cut, and replace a few years down the road.

Available in a 24' width and lengths from 20' up to 150'.

Built for the Winters That Take Down Other Tunnels

The Derecho uses a gothic peak so snow slides off on its own, and a truss on every hoop carries what stays. The frame bolts together at the peak sleeve and at the ground posts with 5/16" hardware.

The steel framing in this kit is 100% U.S.-made, cut, bent, and fabricated at our Texas facility. Some components — including the greenhouse film and fasteners (nuts and bolts) — are sourced from outside the U.S.
